This gown will be gifted to nine-year-old, AJ, who has down syndrome is going through treatment for Hypoplastic left heart syndrome. His favorite book is Fiona Flamingo, so much so that he dressed as a rainbow flamingo last year for Halloween, and last time he was sick in the hospital friends and family “flocked” our yard with flamingos. He’s headed from Iowa to in December for open heart surgery and would love him to have a gown that helps him feel more comfortable while there!
