Help Us Make Halloween Magical For Children in Hospitals

Over 3 million children in the United States are hospitalized each year. Sadly, every 33 minutes a child receives a cancer diagnosis, making hospitalization a frightening reality for many families. My own family became a part of this statistic eighteen years ago when my nine-year-old brother, Mac, was diagnosed with two types of Leukemia and admitted to the hospital on Halloween.

Little did we know, we were about to have our life drastically changed, and he would never get to trick or treat again. Unfortunately, Mac went to heaven due to a medical error. Despite the heartbreaking outcome, I will always remember how hard we laughed  on his last Halloween, when I painted his face like a zombie.

The small gesture of gifting a Brave Gown on Halloween, makes a huge impact for a child that can't trick or treat with family, friends and siblings.
